Meet the Alaskan Husky
Contrary to popular belief, the Alaskan Husky is not a registered breed but a category of dog defined by its performance and work ethic. They are the supreme endurance athletes of the animal kingdom, bred specifically for the harsh conditions of the Arctic.
Why Alaskan Huskies?
- Endurance: They can run for hours with incredible stamina.
- Thermal Regulation: Their double coats keep them warm even in -30°C conditions.
- Temperament: Alaskan Huskies are naturally social, friendly, and love working as a team.
- Intelligence: They are quick learners who understand complex commands on the trail.
Life at the Kennel
Our dogs are active year-round. While winter is when they shine on the snow, summer is spent hiking and training with “dog sledding on wheels” (carting). Socialization is a huge part of their lives, and we encourage our guests to spend time cuddling and getting to know the unique personality of each dog.
Breeding for Welfare
We focus on breeding for health, temperament, and a natural “desire to run.” This ensures that our huskies are happy, healthy, and genuinely excited to head out onto the trail with you.
