Pricing typically ranges from 1,650 NOK to 2,200 NOK per person depending on the tour type (Half-Day vs. Full-Day) and time of day. All bookings include free cancellation, ensuring your Arctic plans remain flexible.
You can book directly through our website. Specific policies, including exact meeting times and locations, may vary and are clearly displayed on the individual tour detail pages. We recommend booking 2-4 months in advance for peak season (December - March) to ensure availability.
We offer free cancellation for most adventures, allowing you to book with confidence. Because specific policies may vary depending on the experience type, the exact terms are always displayed on the tour detail page before you complete your payment. Once your booking is confirmed, refers to your confirmation for final details.
The ‘Three-Layer System’ is essential. Start with a wool base layer, add a thick fleece or wool mid-layer, and finish with windproof outer layers. We provide high-quality thermal suits and boots on most tours, but you should always bring your own gloves and a warm hat.
Yes! Most tours include the rental of specialized polar thermal suits, winter boots, and sometimes mittens and headlamps for evening tours.
Age limits vary but generally, children should be at least 5 years old to ride in a sled. Weight limits often apply for self-drive tours (typically up to 110kg per person) to ensure the safety of the dogs and the stability of the sled.
For safety reasons, we do not recommend dog sledding for guests in late-stage pregnancy. The trails can be bumpy, and the physical nature of mushing (or sitting in a sled) may pose risks. Please consult your doctor before booking.
We strive to be inclusive! Many of our passenger-led tours can accommodate guests with limited mobility. Please contact us in advance so we can tailor the experience for you.
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on the highest standards of Alaskan Husky welfare. Our dogs are working athletes who love to run. We prioritize their health, nutrition, and socialization, and we are happy to show you their living conditions during a Husky Farm visit.
Retired sled dogs either live out their days at the farm as ‘grandparents’ helping socialize puppies, or they are adopted into loving forever homes where they can enjoy a slower pace of life.
No prior experience is necessary for our Self-Drive Arctic Adventures. Our expert mushers will provide a full safety briefing and ‘101 mushing’ tutorial before you take the reins.
It depends on your pace! Dog sledding is fast-paced and exhilarating. Reindeer sledding is a slower, more cultural experience often linked to Sámi culture. We recommend a combo tour if you want both!
